This sensational Suzanne Neville gown costs more than my wedding dress did.
Sophisticated, timeless and sassy, this beautiful dress moulded and sculpted my body in the way that only exquisite gowns can.
Wearing this elegant but sexy black evening gown was a dream come true, a real Cinderella moment if ever I’ve had one.
Only this Cinderella had no ball to go to, but to a town centre.
Barnsley town centre in fact. Barnsley – I’m not sure you’ve ever looked as fabulous.
You were on this day, the perfect setting. The cherry blossom trees bloomed, the sun shone and the fountains poured. Gorgeous.
When I decided to create this blog, I knew that I would need one hell of a show stopper of a gown to help me launch it and do my new site justice. And this black beauty perfectly fitted the bill.
With it’s sophisticated plunging neckline, built in corsetry, accompanying waist belt and draped skirt, it is the exact kind of womanly dress I had hoped to find.
As I ‘modelled’ amidst the shoppers and town centre goers, as I felt the sun shining on my exposed arms and caught a glimpse of the prettiest Spring blossom I’ve seen in ages, I felt alive.
It was also the best fun I’ve had in ages, as I posed up a storm with the guidance of my dear friend and talented photographer extraordinaire Helen.
Sure people stopped and stared, but in full throes of the shoot, I couldn’t have cared less. I was having way too much fun wearing this stunning gown.
This Suzanne Neville dress made me invincible, powerful and womanly.
A fitting tribute to a new blogging dawn for me and this blossoming blog.
Kindly loaned to me for the shoot, I’m sure you will all understand when I say I really didn’t want to give it back.
And how did this Cinderella finish the shoot? With fish and chips of course!
Posing is hungry work, I tell you. *winks*
Special mention to Keelings Fish & Chips in Barnsley for kindly letting us shoot inside their gorgeous classic shop (and for serving the most delicious fish and chips!)
